The Debut

Deconstructing the internal workings of the shoe by exteriorising impact on walking gait through structural architecture, truss systems and load distribution is the objective for this project.

The collection combines architectural techniques, traditional footwear making and 3D-printing technology. Its sole units and heels use joint-and-members cross-bracing systems that utilise tensile and compressive forces in footwear construction.
